H. H Moran Mar Baselios Augen I, Catholicose of the East accompanied by Lordships Daniel Mar Philexinos of Thumpamon Diocese, Paoulose Mar Philexinos of Kandanad Diocese and Rev. Fr T. C Jacob brought the Holy Relics of St. Thomas after the Seminar at Adis Ababa who stayed at the Parish and called on His Highness Shaikh Isa Bin Sulman Al- Khalifa, the Amir of Bahrain.

The First Munninmel Qurbana was conducted in the parish during the Catholicose visit.

H. G Mar Coorilose visited the parish and celebrated the Holy Qurbana and delivered a series of sermons.
