A master plan for the proposed two storey Church building having a total area of around 10,000 sq. Ft. was drawn by the Consutant in which the ground floor have a parsonage, offices, guest accomodation,

mini hall, toilets and ladies rest room whereas on the first floor, the church and the balcony to accommodate a capacity of 1,200 people.

The plan got approval from the Civil Defence and Fire ServiceDirectorate on 13th May 2001 and Electricity Directorate on 15th may 2001.

Fr. N.S. Varghese who was closely associated, so far, with his outstanding leadership, for the venture was transferred to Bombay by end July 2001 and Fr. Abraham Joseph took over the charge as the Vicar of the Parish.

It was a joyous occasion on 21st August 2001 when the permission was obtained from the Municipality  for starting the process of building construction at site.
