Foundation stone laying byH.G. Geevarghese Mar Coorlios on 2nd November 2001

Laying of foundation stone for the new church building was done by His grace Geevarghese Mar Coorilos, Metropolitan of Bombay Diocese and the President of National Council of Churches in India, on 2nd November 2001 in the gracious presence of the Most Reverend Dr. George Carey, Archbishop of Canterbury and Bishop of Cyprus & Gulf Rt. Rev. Clive Handford. H.E. Abdulnabi Al Sho’ala, Minister of Labour & Social Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain and Ambassadors of India, United Kingdom and Phillippines also attended the function.
