His Grace The Most Rev. Geevarghese Mar Coorilose
Metropolitan of Bombay Diocese.

A native of Kerala, India, HG was born on October 7,1949, the son of Late Mr.P K Kurian and Mrs.Mary Kurian, Puliyeril, Kolladu, Kottayam. After attending schools and colleges, he completed theological studies at Orthodox Theological Seminary, Kottayam, and higher studies in Pastoral Theology at London University. He was ordained as priest in December 21, 1975.
